Judge Smales
Finally got my tix to go with the boys for Sat morning. Anyone else been to it in other cities? It sounds pretty cool, too bad my son's think real football players will be there (from 8-10 it's only Lions players) I ended up with one extra ticket (9 AM entry) if someone is around the northern Detroit suburbs and interested PM me and I'll try to get it to you (I'm not trying to sell it here, it's free, but you gotta pick it up). I don't feel like hocking it on FleaBay and I'd hate to see it go to waste figured there might be someone around here interested.

chiefjay
Judge: Went to the NFL Experience last night; pretty good stuff, especially for the boys but also for the adults. No problem spending 3-4 hrs there. Some of the lines are fairly long but not too bad, the volunteers do a good job and keeping the lines moving. One suggestion: If you get there right at the beginning, run to towards the back of the open area where all the stations are for the "games" for the kids. More of the cool ones are back there with the longer lines. Stuff like the "fly" pattern, field goal kick, 40 yard dash, etc... Food is pretty expensive but I expected that. $4 for a dog and chips, $7 for a Philly Steak and Cheese, etc... All you can eat Chunki Chili and Soup though but only two varieties, Chili and something else. Wear Tennis Shoes (obviously) and if you plan on participating, some sort of comfortable clothing, I would recommends athletic wear for the kids too. It's warm in there so they could wear shorts too, coat check would allow you to check clothing I believe. Lines will be long to get in though so if you want to be toward the front of the line to get into COBO I would suggest getting there about an hour early. Also I think you can sneak in through the garage basement door to get into COBO without a ticket, at least that's what I could've done if I didn't have to go back and get my cousin and his son who were waiting in line. I needed to tell them that they needed to go get their tix at will call. Anyway, PM me for any other info. CJ

It was a great day for them. I also had a good time, they had some things for us older guys too. Have fun, you'll have a good day.

If you have a couple of hours to get together for a beer, that would be cool.

satelliteoflovegm
I went in Minny in 92 or 93. It was fun, I liked the display of all the old school helmets, throwback style. Before throwback was so in. Had my picture taken with Sprout!!!
