Menudo
Tom Jackson just said the stadium was 90% full of Steeler fans.... I knew there would be a lot, but that is unreal !!!!! Will it mean anything ? Who knows, but that is still impressive.
wiegie
Will it mean anything? 1306663 I think it means that the average fan IQ will be even lower than normal at Ford Field.

The towel's are impressive, the noise sounds impressive, and yes if the Steeler fans were able to get 90% of the tickets that sure as hell is impressive. ebartender
For the crowd to be 90% Steelers fans you can really hear the Seahawk fans. A lot of noise while Pittsburgh had the ball.
Guggs
Why is it that 90% of the fans are Steeler fans? Is it because Detroit is closer to Pittsburgh and maybe because the Steelers have been in several Super Bowls in the past that there are just more Steeler fans out there? I am not sure how the tickets get divided up or how they are sold.

Menudo
90 percent of the fans and 100 percent of the refs 1306708 Definitely a questionable call, I'll admit. He did push, but it was light, and I've seen it not called more than called......oh well, glad to give up 3 instead of 7.

Voltaire
As a Detroiter, I can tell you that I have a far deeper affinity for parts of America between the Appalacians and the Rockies and North of the Mason-Dixon line. Pittsburgh fits the bill. It's a blue collar non-glamourous city and I respect that because that's who we are too. The rest of the country can kiss my midwestern ass. If you don't have a closed auto/steel factory in your community, you can go Oprah yourself. Further, I don't drink $6-$15 coffee and think people who do are pretentious. As a Lions fan, I have some affinity for the Seahawks because their football team like ours, hasn't won sh*t. Overall though, I just want to see a good football game between the two best.most deserving teams. theeohiostate
VERY questionable in the least, the ref obviously initially called it short then changed his call as he neared Ben and called it a TD after Ben was on the ground DOWN and shoved it over the goaline. Two questionable calls against the Seabags thus far , resulting in a net gain for the Steelers of 7 points. The TD catch earlier by Jackson with the phantom offensive PI call , the first. Menudo
I'll admit that the Jackson PI was ticky-tack. He did push him, lightly, I've seen it not called a lot more than I've seen it called. As for the Ben TD, I've watched it several times, and I think he got in. Even if he didn't, it is 4th and half an inch. Chances are Ben can sneak it in. Steelers played pretty poorly in the 1st half and are leading 7-3, so I am cautiously happy. They better wake up in the 2nd half though.

I also do think the Jackson PI is interference but if they are going to call it that way then they have to keep calling it that way. If that is the case I don't have a problem with it.
