Worst halftime show ever

It thought it was ironic that the NFL had a commercial about how american they are and then hires an aging british band to play. Sort of surprised that there was no american artist considered better than the Stones who have been around for what - 40 years? And Jager is 62 years old.

A Tailgate thread a few months ago confirmed beyond a doubt that there is no American artist even close. No band anyway. And the Stones have been around 40 years, as Jagger himself pointed out when introducing Satisfaction.

Just proved there was nothing to like about this game. The Hype was a joke, the mouths were no existant until Stevens finally caught a ball, granted a TD. The NFL picked Tom Brady to toss teh coin, what is up with that. And the Stones should have retired about the same time Bettis should have hung up his cleats. To think someone somewhere made money on all this BS. pathetic.

Wow, what are those guys, 90???? They were terrible. It sounded like each one was playing a different song. Painful, just Painfull.

And while I'm at it. That was the WORSE redition of the Star Spangled Banner I ever.

Well I guess it was all better the having Janet whip out another oddly decorated, 45 year old tit

The best show that I've ever been to was the Stones about7 years ago in Charlotte. The NFL should've let them play some of their better tunes. I would've loved to hear Gimme Shelter or something more upspeed, instead the NFL opted to play the two most familiar songs that they've ever released and one new song that I'm sure the Stones lobbyed for.

The Super Bowl doesn't need these momos to perform...how about doing the Punt, Pass, Kick championship right there at halftime of the Super Bowl...lets make this about the kids...not the geriatrics. :D
