Super Twinky
This is in response to the Worst superbown halftime show posting. I agree with Robash that KISS would be a great option. There are so many bands that would be awesome. How about a band actually based in the good old USA for the superbowl? Instead of these British classics that are risking their lives performing at that age. Here is my list of bands that I could see performing at the Superbowl: Green Day KISS Ted Nuegent Weezer Usher Coldplay Tom Petty Def Leppard (not a US band, but better than the stones or mccartney) Kelly Clarkson/Avrylle/Michelle Branch combo (why not?) And that is off the top of my head! Who did I miss??? S.T. Edited February 6, 2006 by Super Twinky

Why not list Calvin and Hobbes if you want cartoon characters?
Sgt. Ryan
Get Brooks and Dunn out there. At least they can sing.
Super Twinky
Seriously, who doesn't like cat scratch fever and Fred Bear??? Ted is an American hero to many and he honestly represents a lot of folks outside the reaches of the larger Liberal cities. KISS is one of the all time greats. Nobody can argue with that. Look at all the singles they sold. Look at all the airtime they still get. Brooks and Dunn! Excellent suggestion for a Superbowl! :-) Edited February 6, 2006 by Super Twinky

Coldplay, I would of slept thru it (wait a minute, that may be a good thing). Usher, Blah. Now Weezer, I can work with that.

cincy slammers
I'd say Milli Vanilli Boy George and the Culture Club Backstreet Boys Cindy Lauper Those would've been better

Buffalo Wings
KISS, Def Lepard and Ted Nugent sound like crap now.
I Like Soup
It is halftime people...go take a piss, get more beer, throw the football around, and wait for the second half to start. Screw the tired old acts the NFL feels they have to throw out there...the Super Bowl doesn't need them.
