Skippy
One thing that is bothering me about all this crap. From the description of the first link up there, Pittsburg bought the last ones. Suprisingly Paul Allen was outbid. Probably because he has integrity. Who will win this one? Buyer reserves the right to end/cancel the auction early."You guys can batch about the officials but to suggest that Pittsburgh was in some way cheating at is really phucked if you ask me. That sounds like sour grapes to these ears. Pittsburgh does not need to apologize for winning the game. The officials may need to apologize for some calls but that is not Pittsburgh’s fault at all. Suggesting that the Steelers are now the The only 6 time Super Bowl Winners and YOUR DADDY is also phucked. They didn't steal anything. They played the game and took what was given to them. Maybe they should have said something like "we really aren't so sure Ben scored"? Or "hey, you guys don't normally call that push off so why don't you let it slide this time"? I am being for real here. If I was a Hawk homer I would be pissed today. I would feel like there is a very good chance they could have won if they had gotten some of the breaks. Or better yet if they didn't get called for everything that they got called for. The Hasslebeck blocking call was phucked. The Ref thought he saw something that he didn't but that 15 yards didn't make or break that game. Also say what you will about the officials but Seattle, just like Pittsburgh, most certainly did not play their A game yesterday.

To me, the point is that even with as bad as the hawks played, Pitt was for the most part playing worse. Had things been called evenly, I believe the seahawks win that game, and that's the part that bothers me. I wanted the best team to win, and if the teams are even;y matched, I wanted the team that played better to win. In my opinion, that was the seahawks, and had the timing of some of those calls been differnet, they would have won the game. Now, could the seahawks have played better so the 'bad' calls wouldn't have mattered as much? Yes. And should they have? Probably. Their mistakes were mainly mental, ie; missed field goals, dropped passes, etc. But even with all of that, virtually every time they got something going, they lost field posistion, or a first down or in two cases, points. With exactly the way that both teams did play, not how they should have played, the seahawks would have won that game with different calls by the officials.
