RILETT
As hard as this Super Bowl loss has been for for me a 36 year old Seahawk fan who has been waiting for this game forever. I find myself having a new found respect for Buffalo homers, I can't even imagine going through this 4 years in a row. If there are any Buffalo homers out there that can give me any advice on how to get over this please chime in, do you just not stop drinking for a while or what ? Eagles Fan
Philly Homer that moved to Buffalo 6 years ago here. After last year, I found that drinking helps...day and night. As for the people up here, they are still crazy about their team which is pretty cool. It is funny being up here and not being a homer...on the local sports talk every year, the fans predict 10-6 ,11-5 & 12-4 seasons and I think "the team is not that good". Good luck with depression and awful feeling in your gut but the good new is it does go away in about 3 weeks.
whitem0nkey
Jim Kelley of the Buffalo Bills was in such depression after losing the Super Bowl that he tried to kill himself. However, as his bad luck continued, somone intercepted the bullet. That’s the kind of stuff you would hear. But when my white sox one it was hard to hold back but I did, yeah I had my celebratory post but I tried to keep things a polite as possible. Its all a just a game in the grand scheme of things. I don’t understand how at ballparks people get into fistfights over a team. I don’t think that Paul konerko, or Michael Jordan would get into a fight if someone made fun of whitem0nkey?? It’s ok to give a friendly hard time but we should not cross the line. And also in almost any forum you need to have a thick skin.
