Guest Sores
Not only Madison, but Parthenon Gyro is the best Gyro in the WORLD! Incredible sauce, very generous quantity of meat, all fresh ingredients, great salty fries....authentic ownership and workers.... and I even saw some dude shooting up heroin in the bathroom there once...... GREAT place. It is actually a tad deflating to find their website....but it is still a great place even if it has caught up to the world of the internet. Cunning Linguist
My best friend's wife went to Miami of Ohio back in the late 80's and we used to party there once in a while. I can't recall the name of a great bar that had the best Gyros ive ever had outside of Greektown in Chicago. They also had awsome wings, nuclear i think was the name of the hottest ones. Anybody know what im talking about?

Mojo20
Linguist, I believe the bar was Skipper's, it was run by a dude from Chi-town. I also attended Miami in the late 80's and spent many $$ on chow there. Also great Burgers there. Loaf, Agree with Nick's, also Charcoal House BBQ in South Euclid has very good ones. They also have a Gyro and Egg breakfast that is niiiice!

Mojo20
Right at the corner of Green and Mayfield Rd. Next to Cleveland Sporting Goods. Enjoy! BTW the owner makes his own BBQ sauce. It is spectacular. Edited February 14, 2006 by Mojo20

Chavez
Haven't found anyplace that tops Oakland Gyros - one on the corner of Oakland (natch) and Locust, and a new one down by the airport on Layton. This is for visitors, any Milwaukeean KNOWS this.
