Azazello1313
ST. LOUIS -- Nick Holt took the defensive coordinator's job at Southern California, one day after accepting an offer to become the Rams' defensive line coach under new coach Scott Linehan. Rams spokesman Duane Lewis said Tuesday that Holt had not signed a contract. "He just changed his mind," Lewis said. Holt had been head coach at Idaho. He and Linehan, who replaced Mike Martz on Jan. 20, have been friends for years. The two coached together at Idaho and at Louisville. Holt was 5-18 during two seasons at Idaho and before that was linebackers coach at USC from 2001-03.

yoyboy
I always thought that Petey Carroll was some sort of "defensive genius" and was his own DC. I guess his awesome defensive game plan vs. Texas made him rethink hiring some help.
Puddy
Hey if Mike Martz accepts the Lions OC position, maybe Torry will leave and follow him here to Detroit

AtomicCEO
I was excited. The more veteran wide receivers that hit the market... the better odds that I don't have to count on Ashley Lelie and Charlie Adams next year.

Imagine the fireworks.... 1314406[/snapback] Holt had a pretty good year with the likes of Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jamie Martin throwing the ball a ton.
