Judging by what I hear, they may have some problems filling the stadium  anyway because so many people are still gone, let alone have the cash on hand to go to football games.

Side note - this move back to NO seems a little ahead of itself to me, unless it's only going to be for one or two  games.

Maybe the word has not gotten out nationally. All 8 home games are going to be in the Dome this year -- first home game is 24 Sept vs Atlanta. The contractor is on the hook to have it ready for football by 1 Sept or face $1Mil daily penalties (of course, he gets a $1Mil a day bonus for every day early). It's happening.

As far as filling the stadium, nearly 20,000 season tickets have already been sold. And while Orleans Parish (predominantly poor areas of the city - 9th Ward, NOLA East, etc) is going to take a long while to repopulate, Jefferson Parish (suburbs - Metairie and Kenner - more $$ and affluence) has nearly 95% of its residents back. I certainly don't know the exact numbers, but for the most part, it was not Orleans Parish residents who were buying tickets before.
