Duchess Jack
I don't watch college ball - but I was wondering what the word on this year's top prospects is? I have heard that Young is a high character guy - really happy, leader... but what about the others (Bush, Leinert, etc). Silly question - I just like to know who I am rooting for. Are any of the big names primadonas? Any of them Vick-like characters? Who coming out has the biggest heart? Who's the biggest team player? Randall
Saw a story where Bush went down and trained a little with LT2 and wasn't ready for it. He was embarrassed by how LT was in far better shape than he was. He said he would never let it happen again. He seems like a quality player who cares about becoming great. Gdawg
He's not a top 5 pick, or even a 1st rounder...but to broaden the conversation a bit watch Anthony Fasano, TE, out of ND. Great kid and a solid 2nd rounder, should really help out somebody next season. Just my .
junebugz
Character guys?? Basically anyone not from the state of Florida or THE Ohio State University. 1324848[/snapback] Yeah, cuz guys like Will Smith, Chris Gamble, Michael Jenkins, Jonathan Wells, Nate Clements, Ahmed Plummer, Antoine Winfield, Shawn Springs, Orlando Pace, Mike Vrabel, Eddie George, Alonzo Spellman, Robert Smith, Chris Spielman, and Keith Byars either are or were some of the biggest jerks the NFL has ever seen

Correct. I would like to mention D'Brickashaw Ferguson as a top 5 or 3 if talking NFL... As a Titans homer, I wouldn't mind if they would trade down to about and get some x tra pick and take D'Brickashaw, but through history of the Oilers/Titans have NEVER picked an O-lineman in the first 2 rounds in almost 20 years. piratesownninjas
As far as team players, I don't know how anyone could be more of a team player than Matt Leinart. Last year at this time he could have declared, been the number one pick in the draft, and gotten that fat signing bonus. Instead, he risked his career to try and get another national championship. Thats a team player if you ask me.

NAUgrad
Or he wanted to continue to freely work his way through the entire female population at USC!
piratesownninjas
That had nothing to do with it... He's from the area, and there is still a mystique about the niners... There will always be a mystique with the cowboys, niners, pack, and steelers. Reguardless of when he came out, he was going to go to a very bad team no matter what.
