dmarc117
i heard today that if you put some beer and lemon juice in the water, it cuts down on the smell in your house..... any truth to this....
Gonkis
Drink the beer and eventually the smell doesn't bother you.

Chief Dick
Buy yourself one of those turkey fryers that uses propane and cook 'em outside. That's how I always do fish. Works great.

The Holy Roller
Hank Hill, propane, lol. I used to be a propane delivery man myself. Worked for Empiregas in Missouri. Their motto, "The Empire Will Getcha!".
Hugh B Tool
Good fresh crab legs rarely smell. Fresh meaning those bastages were kept in live holding tanks on board or cooked right on board(smaller local operations) and then frozen right away and fast. Crab starts to die at all before being cooked to death and the meat goes right along with it. Old bay, lemon, Dill, capers added to the water when boiled is muy bueno
cmoore
All I smell is crab boil when I cook 'em. You sure you don't have some rotten legs? 1326816[/snapback] agreed, it's the crab boil that smells. Granted it smells good while you are doing it, but 3 days later it gets old. Definitely cook them outside in a turkey fryer. I have even heated water to wash my dog outside in the winter in my fryer....is there anything a good turkey fryer can't do?
