Peyton can be a , but he puts up the numbers he is expected to put up ... year in, year out. 1329032[/snapback] That's true; however, Manning has had a tad bit more around him than Marino - heck, if nothing else, he's had top-notch RBs lined up behind him for basically his entire career, and this year he had a very good defense. When it comes down to it, Manning is a Hall of Fame lock, but I can't really say he's lived up to his hype as "the best in the league" when he can't even get a LOADED team with home field throughout the playoffs to the SB.
