Ursa Majoris
Restore the Roar! 1343485 Restore? You mean it's been heard before? I must have missed it.
Whiskey Pimp
Restore? You mean it's been heard before? I must have missed it. 1343494 The Roar is every year at this time and then it turns to a whimper during the season.
Swiss Cheezhead
Oh, and they will NOT be "making a big play" for a QB who won't be able to throw a pass under Martz' system until the regular season. Criminy. Peace policy 1343477 Whaddya know. Policy's right.
Voltaire
Maybe Millen will use it to sign TO!! They do need a good WR in Detroit! 1341648 I thought the timing of it all was suspicious. We now know the real reason Marriucci was fired and Garcia isn't coming back. Voltaire
Yeah, 1957! 1343716 I thought there was alot to roar about in '91. Things were genrally good during the Barry years beside the QB (especially Scott Mitchell) absolute sucking. We routinely beat all the top teams (cough ... regular season), lost to the bad ones, made the playoffs as a wildcard and got beat in the first game. Azazello1313
Why would Brees come to team where he would have to "compete" for the starting job? 1343485 ummmm..... compete with who?
Voltaire
I don't hate Joey like I hate Scott Mitchell, but I haven't seen anything out of him at all and he's not 'young and innexperienced' anymore. This was his 4th year as as a starter, you'd think we'd have seen a spark or something somewhere. My whole lifetime I've never seen quality play out of a Lions QB better than Eric Hipple and Gary Danielson. Michigan Panthers won the championship with Bobby Hebert in the USFL, if that counts. Voltaire
Rodney Peete wasnt all that bad in Super Techmo Bowl 1343852 During the three-ring-circus days, I was pulling for Eric Kramer since he sucked far less than Peete and Ware. Egret
Rodney Peete wasnt all that bad in Super Techmo Bowl 1343852 Yeah but his stupid QB draw took away a running play that could've gone to Barry.
BigTen
The Lions will not have that $11 million added to the $9 million thay had under the cap. The Lions are still $9 million under the cap and that will keep them out of the running for Brees. Get used to it, Joey is our man. Martz's ego will want to make Harrington into something.
