mggoilers
As a Cowboys fan, this doesn't scare me a bit. We have 2 former de-activated headcases who make up our starting WR corp. Guy's a gamebreaker, and if he screws up again...what are his options? Canada? Keyshawn won't like it because he wants to get paid. Cowboys management is pretty creative, so the contract will work for both sides if it gets that far. Cowboys and Eagles would be a blast this year. Adam Schefter reported the Parcells and Drew "I manage my clients" Rosehaus lunch today on Sirius...more details on Total Access Sunday Edited February 25, 2006 by mggoilers

mggoilers
I cannot see Johnson and Owens having fun together. 1341847 Owens played next to the best ever, and keyshawn thinks he's the best ever...I'd like to see if it works. Cowboys are in win-win. T.O. needs to be on his best behavior and Cowboys need a playmaker. For everyone thinking this would be a Jerry move...Parcells is hopefully pushing it. I'm sure Parcells has dealt with difficult personalities before.

Raider.Nation
I cannot see Johnson and Owens having fun together. 1341847 So get rid of Johnson. TO is far superior. That would be a pretty formidable offence to look at across the field. JoJoTheWebToedBoy
shucks, may have to find another team. Man I am going to have to move to Philly, paint my ass green and learn to walk backwards until the TO experiment is over. TO + Cowboys = one less fan
DMD
It would be impossible to find one player so universally detested by Cowboy fans as Owens is. Owens will not put more people in the stands (though they are sold out anyway), he will be a grating, disappointing addition regardless of what he does to true Dallas homers. Cowboys brought in Prime time after he played with the Niners. They brought in Haley after he left the niners. Last I checked, I hated the Niners as a Cowboys fan. Those guys came to Dallas and people loved them. Dallas loves a winner, and if T.O. helps them win, the Dallas fans will fall into line. The talent cannot be ignored, and T.O. needs this to work or his option are very limited.

He will make my team better. After '94, Cowboys needed a Corner. The 49ers and Prime time just made a mockery of our team...the very next year he was helping the Cowboys win a title. Cowboys fans suffered through that one...just fine. T.O. did disrespect the star and has paid for it ever since...time to say your sorry if you're T.O.(right off the bat), and go make some plays. Roy Williams made him pay a little too with that ankle injury...I'm over the star thing. George Teague helped that, and that Cowboy team was sorry anyway... I don't think the draft or other potential Free agents will have the impact T.O. will have if signed.

DMD
Respectfully disagree. Owens is no different now than he was when he did the star thing and if anything he is worse. If he will make Dallas a better team, then why didn't he make Philly a better team rather than getting dumped in a conflict of historical proportions. Owens has maybe a couple of good years left and he has not made it all 16 games in a few seasons anyway. Bottom line speaking purely as a Cowboy's fan - I do not want him on the team no matter what. There is no player more "anti-cowboy" than Owens. Sanders may have been a showboat, but he was only promoting himself (endlessly that). Owens was disrespecting all of the cowboys and their fans when he was in Texas Stadium. I mean come on, WWTLD? (what would Tom Landry do?) Ursa Majoris
...time to say your sorry if you're T.O.(right off the bat), 1342696 Well, good luck with that.
Raider.Nation
Well, good luck with that. 1342778 If TO wants somewhere where he can REALLY start over and start fresh, Denver is the best spot for him. Shanahan has showed he won't put up with the BS (cutting Clarett after taking him in rd 3). It's a whole new division and conference, and Denver really needs a big play guy for Jake to throw to. If this was last season, I have no doubt that Owens would be a Raider right now. I'm actually surprised I haven't even heard that rumour. I know Owens/Moss would never play on the same team, just saying that I can't believe I haven't heard the rumour. Al Davis loves to take everyone else's garbage and try and make something with them (Sapp, Moss).

At the same time, I just want to see him on the field :doah: 1342976 The big knock on Plummer (in year's past) was that he took too many chances and turned the ball over too much. With all due respect to Rod Smith, he just isn't the same guy Elway was throwing to. And Ashley Lelie is an over-rated speedster. Bring in TO, and that will elevate Jake Plummer into the top 5-8 of FF QB's. IMHO. And as a Jake Plummer owner I just want to see TO on the field with Denver. And as a Raider fan. Well shucks...
