Avernus
what affect do you think this would have on his fantasy value if he went to Denver?...do you think he's lost his incentive to play after getting this potential contract...or does he still try to prove himself? thecerwin
That would be weird if he went to Denver. Why would the Ravens let him go? I know they just signed Mike Anderson... but I don't see much value in him anymore. They also just let Chester Taylor go.

I even balked at drafting him immediately after the 2000 yd season...and last season as well... but I believe the Ravens are going to draft a RB to run with Anderson... jgcoach
I think he can bounce back. He's still young and he's got to succeed or it's probably close to being over for him. If he can get the ball in Denver on a consistant basis, I'd bet on him not against but, I may have jaded eyes as I have him in two Dynasty leagues. As far as Anderson goes, I think his value is very limited in Balt. The O-line and QB I think are too much against him. He'll see 8 in the box consistantly, unless The Ravens found a way to open a def. up a little but, I just don't think so.

Shanahan doesn't put up with RBs who aren't putting up numbers. If Jamal signs a deal and doesn't play up to expectations, he's gone and the contract will mean nothing. Besides the guaranteed money of course. Jamal could be huge in Denver. If he can avoid the dreaded RBBC that is.
Goopster24
Isn't this uncharacteristic of Denver to be going out and getting a free agent RB? What happened to their drafting strategy? I think Jamal is done. Either way, I would never touch him again after drafting him last year. He just bring back too many bad memories. Vote Quimby2
I don't think he is done either. To me JLew seems like the perfect fit for the steelers.
