Kansas State 2000
The Cowboys have signed linebacker Akin Ayodele to a 5-year contract. It's a $17 million contract that included a $5 million signing bonus. Edited March 13, 2006 by Kansas State 2000
Sgt. Ryan
Wow, This is a huge signing. Dallas now has a set of 4 LBs that can all do damage to opposing offenses. Akin isnt a traditional run stuffing LB he is better blitzing, and is now opposite Demarcus Ware, whcih shoudl give them both chances to cause havoc. . This gurantees Burnett will move inside next to Bradie James, which should be a stout combo vs the run. I like Scott Fujita, but he wasnt the blitzer, Ayodele is, which is what the Boys needed. Last yr it was too predictable, that the blitz was coming from Demarcus Ware, this should confuse offense lines much more with a speed rusher on both sides. Edited March 13, 2006 by Sgt. rajncajn
Looks like Saints picked up Fujita. Guess Payton liked him enough to bring him along.

Pretty impressive-sounding kid. He loves the staff, said that was a hugh selling point for him ...
Sgt. Ryan
Id have loved Dallas keep Fujita and show Singleton the door. But he wouldnt be starting in Big D, unless someone went down.
