Guest Cherni Posted March 14, 2006 Share Posted March 14, 2006 The Dolphins completed a trade with Minnesota for quarterback Daunte Culpepper on Tuesday after talks with free agent quarterback Drew Brees hit a standstill. A source close to Culpepper confirmed that Culpepper was on his way to South Florida from Orlando to meet with the team. Culpepper is also expected to be examined by team physicians to check out his surgically repaired right knee. Although still happy with Culpepper since he is better than any other stiff they have had in that position since Marino left. After trading a second rd. pick for A.J. Feeley, Culpepper is an absolute steal for a second rd. pick. Here is an interesting scenario, with Brees going to the Saints maybe the Vikings package their second and first, maybe another pick thrown in also to the Saints for the second pick and the Vikings draft Leinart.
