Los Gigantes
with their 1st rounder to move up to the first or second pick and take Leinart or Bush? Their QB problems are well doccumented. With Mike Anderson old and Jamal Lewis essentially signed to a 1 year deal, Bush could be their rb of the future. Would this make sense for them? If they offered it, do you think the Texans or Saints would/should go for it?
Sgt. Ryan
No way Lewis is happy in New orleans, so he becomes a distraction, and a smaller scale TO II. I already predicted Ray lewis to Houston, in the what would you do if you were the Houston GM thread. No way i move 1.1 for Ray and a later 1, but if I were Houston and I could deal down to #4, for next yrs 1, and a 3rd this yr similar to what The Gnats paid for Eli, Then I move from 1.4 to 1.7 and get a 2 this yr and a 3 next yr, then I move 1.7 to the ravens for Ray Ray and their 1, I might do that. Ray is aging but could definately energize that defense, so he has value to a young inexperienced team like the Texans. Jets get Leinart - give up 1.4, this yrs 3rd, plus next yrs 1 Oakland gets Cutler/Young - gives up 1.7 and this yrs 2nd, plus next yrs 3rd. Baltimore gets Young/Cutler - Gives up later 1, and ray Lewis. Houston drafts Winston Justice with the Ravens 1, gets an additonal 2nd and 3rd this yr, and a 1 and 3 next yr, plus ray Lewis. Gdawg
Personally I'd rather see the Ravens address their O-Line problems than go after another "skill" position player. Boller was a major mistake but we are stuck with him for now Unfortunately, it seems that they are going to go with the same guys we had last year, minus Orlando Brown...frankly I have no idea what they're up to, and apparently neither do they

I already predicted Ray lewis to Houston, in the what would you do if you were the Houston GM thread. Im not sure Id move 1.1 for Ray and a later 1, but if I were Houston and I could deal down to #4, then deal down again to #7, then I might consider dealing that pick to Baltimore for Ray Lewis and the Ravens 2nd rounder. This way I get a 1 next yr to move off 1.1, 2 2's this yr plus my own, and get ray ray in the process. 1370735[/snapback] I'd love to see Ray move on, he has become a real locker room problem here in Baltimore. The real question is, if they can move him, will he be the Ray Lewis of Old, or just an OLD Ray Lewis?
kpholmes
Ravens need to stay away from young QBs for awhile. Sign Kerry Collins, and start addressing the O-Line and Secondary with the rest of the cap space.

But I could see this one happening. This would be HUGE for the Texans if they did it. Plus it would fix their team now! If this happens man u would have mad props for it from me. Its almost logical. I don't see all of that activity happening. One trade, sure. I can give you that. Two trades, probably not, but maybe. Definately not three. I'd LOVE to see us take nothing but lineman this year. I don't care who we have at QB/RB/WR/TE, if the line plays like they did last year, we'll suck big time. Bring in a token QB to 'challenge' Boller (Brooks, Griese, Ramsey, Collins). If we get lucky, McNair will become available and then we have a starter. Of course, we'd still need a line.
