i wonder if you ever made some posts mocking the Eagles situation with TO...

You guys are a riot.Last week everybody said what a juggernaut KC would be if they signed T.O.Now they're better because they did'nt?Denver was gonna be so much better with T.O. because Rod Smith is getting old,and Lelie has been a disappointment. But now they've improved by signing noone?

So now what,I've been a Cowboys fan my whole life,I just change teams because they signed a guy that I don't care for as a person? The guys a hell of a football player and every casual fan of the NFL knows it.I have'nt read the wording of the contract but I understand that it boils down to a one year deal with incentives for the other two.How can they go wrong? If he has problems like he did in Philly,he's gone.Football won't stop and Jones won't go bankrupt. The Cowboys just got better as a football team.Deal with it.

Sure they got better. Niners were a juggernaut with him, and the Eagle's did too.

Yeah Cowboys look good to pass, they need vast improvement in other areas...like "O" line...."D" ring a bell? Can the Cowboys improve upon their team that has won one playoff game since 1995???? :D T.O. is a step up in that direction, but so was Bledsoe and Keyshawn......T.O. doesn't block for Bledsoe and he doesn't play "D" so they better address the rest if they want to find success.....JMO and I'm sticking to it !!! :D:D:D:D:D

"""3 year deal....how much $$ I'd be interested to know

Jones:"this is not a free lunch for the Cowboys,We made a serious commitment here..." PLEASE TELL ME THEY DID'NT GIVE HIM A TRUCKLOAD OF $$$$$!!!"""

anyone know who made this post from another thread???

$10M spent on TO, when the OL is still in the same shambles it was four months ago???

Nice call, Jerry! Address your OL woes by bringing in a $10M WR who won't have time to get open, and limiting your salary cap space for the rest of the offseason. :D

Curious, to me, this comes across as a fan trying to convince himself more than others.

Dallas has signed 2 OL in free agency this season and should get Flozell back for training camp.10 mil for the first season is not WAY over the top for one of the best WR's in the game today.Have you seen what Randle El,Bryant and Lloyd signed for? What I was worried about was a Hugh amount of money over the whole course of the contract.

Everyone on here says he'll be great for a year which is where most of the $$ is being paid.

Sure, but it's a risk/reward signing. He can singlehandedly ruin a team. I don't know why you are pretending he can't now that he is on your team.

Parcells can handle him..Antonio Bryant is a pimple on T.Os ass before someone brings him up..If T.O acts up Id rather have Parcells then anyone else in the nfl to deal with it..O line is being addressed..D is young and getting better. Talent wise on the football field Dallas is a better team..We shall see what happens with T.O..I remember a ton of Keyshawn will be a cancer on dallas thraeds when we signed him and with the exception of 1 game where he had words with Bledsoe we survived him just fine..and this is a guy who was suspended for insubordination 1 year before. I wont defend T.Os actions just because he is a Cowboy now because he acted like a massive tool last year but whats done is done im going to enjoy the best wr in the nfl and hope the hammer doesnt drop and if it does ill let one of the best coaches in the history of the nfl handle it.

hmmm, I think I'd rather have a $5-6M WR who I was sure wasn't going to be a cancerous buffoon. I certainly know that now after making the E-Go mistake in 2005.

But hey, they're your Cowboys....good luck with that rebuilt OL, and just throw that notion of an OL needing continuity to be effective...40% turnover isn't too much. :D And toss out the notion of needing good locker-room guys to build a champion (ala Pitt, NE, etc.). For some reason, I guess the Cowboys don't need to follow some of the most basic concepts of football to be champions. They're special. :D

The Eagles made that situation much worse than it should have been. They should have just said we will discuss this at the end of the season, no go prove you can stay healthy for 16 games with us.

you can't have it both ways.in an earlier post you said they should have saved more $$ to spend on the O-line,now you're mocking the fact that they signed a couple guys to the O-line, and will have no continuity.Which is it? :D Come up with a decent argument before posting again, you're wasting everyone's time.

Don't get me wrong, this signing could help push the Cowboys to the Superbowl. I'm repeating the obvious in saying TO is a malcontent and could ruin your team. Andy Reid is no patsy, so I'm perplexed by the guaranteed feel good attitude by Cowboy fans in signing Mr. Spike The Ball On The Star guy.

I dunno...I'm not scared of MeO being on Dallas...one way or another, he hasn't finished the last 3 seasons...

even last year he was hurt and left the Denver game...

he's getting older and not every WR can play into their mid 30's...

plus Bledsoe doesn't scare me either....or Julius Jones, but I said that about Julius last year when people tried ranking him in their top 10 off a half a good season against weak competition like a watered down Bears defense...

Sherry Glenn better be able to repeat his performances from last year...

the only real threatening weapon is Witten and I think he's a top 5 TE...

Fair enough. I'm just glad I have the luxury of not having to cheer for a team that whhored themselves out to a team destroying egomaniac.
