CaptainHook
if it's true, the Giants now have the slowest WR's in the NFL. Good thing they are tall.

Front Row
Not yet. Keep your fingers crossed. WR Keyshawn Johnson Leaves the Giants Without a Deal: Unrestricted free agent WR Keyshawn Johnson, who was recently cut by the Dallas Cowboys, visited with the Giants on Monday and Tuesday but left New York without a contract. According to MSGNetwork.com, Johnson and the Giants were close to a deal, but Johnson was not satisfied with the Giants' contract offer. On the other hand, Newsday is reporting that a source close to Johnson said the two sides were not close on a deal. The paper says there are no plans for the Giants and Johnson to talk again, though The Star-Ledger says there is a chance both sides could talk again. The Daily News is reporting that the Giants told Johnson to stay in touch as he meets with other teams. MGSNetwork.com says Johnson will be seeking better offers from the Panthers and Seahawks. Adam Schefter of The NFL Network reports Johnson will be visiting the Patriots next. Newsday says the Broncos and Chiefs are also interested in Johnson. link Edited March 22, 2006 by Front Row
