Thanks 1381770 I'd recommend that you draft close to the same way that you would normally draft. Obviously, youth matters more though but don't over value it. When you set up your tiers, place the younger members higher on the tiers than the older ones. You're going to be continuing to refresh yourself each year with youth and prosects all the time each draft cycle. So youth won't be a problem. Now if you're like me, you always will draft near last and always be last in the waiver wire and will wind up never getting a whiff for a decent rookie RB ever. You will however get shots through the years at young QBs and WRs because they take longer to develop. If you see that happening to you, you're going to have to trade players that are mid-career and known to be good for early draft picks to refresh your RB corps three/four years out. Voltaire
Thanks for the info. Does salary come into play? 1383990 NFL salary means nothing in any FF rules I have ever heard of. If your league rules use salary (in some systems you aution bid for players and free agents instead of a regular "serpentine" meaning s-shaped draft) you will have to factor that in too. Some leagues use a salary cap system to select players and create rosters. Most don't. A salary cap system greatly benefits experienced FF owners familiar with that environment. They'll probably eat you alive, but there are tiops for that sort of thing. Check your specific league's rules. Edited to say : is your league on the internet... if so, either post a link or cut and paste the rules. Any question you have will depend greatly on the rules anyways.
