Savage Beatings
The Vikings have Signed Tank Williams to take over at Safety. I don't know much about the dude. Wasn't he going through some rehab? Is he any good or is he just another serviceable filler? Just looking for your opinions on the guy.
CaptainHook
He started his career with a bang with the Titans, looking very good right away. Then, he just did not improve, and last year kind of regressed. Not good in coverage, but an adequate tackler.
Hugh 0ne
News: Vikings signed safety Tank Williams. Impact: Terms were undisclosed. Williams, 25, is known for being solid in run support and struggling in pass coverage. The former second-round pick was a starter for nearly his entire four-year run in Tennessee. (Fri. Mar 24, 2006) From Foxnews. He's a hard hitter, and had 78 tackles for the Titans. He got a DUI on February 17th, 2005. He went to Stanford and was drafted in the 2nd round with the 13th pick of that round by Tennessee.
spain
Had a good rookie year but has been sort of banged up since. He just never really improved. Not horrible, but didnt make any plays either. The Titans were really expecting him to step up last year and he just didnt for whatever reason. The signing of Chris Hope a few weeks ago basically sealed his fate. BillyBalata
I've seen some speculation they may try him at a LB spot. I'd be a little leary that he may not have the size for it. But they say in the Cover 2 scheme, he doesn't need to be 240 lbs and would fit in no problem.

He doesnt seem to have a pulse, much less intensity and enthusiasm. Has the physical tools but just not the mean streak you want in a hitter. He is just sort of there.... Was 2005 just a healing year or do we live with the option of Napoleon as the better of the two hitters :doah:

Neither of which I dont think were fully healed last year. I think Fisher just got tired of waiting on this guy to fulfill his potential. he may blossom up there, but I think he will be nothing more than a serviceable player...
