Outshined
Posted on Thu, Mar. 23, 2006 DOLPHINS NOTEBOOK Chambers makes a bold predictionBY ARMANDO SALGUEROasalguero@MiamiHerald.com The Dolphins awards banquet is meant to honor last season's accomplishments, but Wednesday evening it turned hopeful eyes on 2006 when players and coaches were talking about playing in Super Bowls and winning championships. ''They play the Super Bowl here next year,'' Dolphins receiver Chris Chambers told the crowd at the Broward County Convention Center, ``and I'll be darned if we're not the ones playing in our own stadium.'' Coach Nick Saban, who usually cringes at the mention of high expectations, seemed to embrace Chambers' outlook, ending a 30-minute keynote speech by saying, ``We will be champions in South Florida again.'' http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sport...ll/14164444.htm

Fantasy Jesus
I hate when guys do that, especialy when it concerns my team. Home field advantage in the SB would be kind of sweet though.

Wizards
Miami hosts the Superbowl....close as the Dolphins get to it is if they get tickets or passes like everyone else......lack the "D" and the "O" has to many questions of chemistry and CPepp's injury recovery for me to believe they can pull it all together in lesss than 3-4 months and be a Champion..... Next year is much more believable than this year.....
CarryTheRock
So what. Predictions and guarantees don't mean crap anymore. The nedia is always trying to make something out of it but does anyone really care?
Randall
Prove it on the field Chris. Has any team won it on their home field? Guess the closest that I can remember was SF winning in Palo Alto . Edited March 25, 2006 by Randall

CaP'N GRuNGe
Maybe new Dolphins C-Pep and Kelly Campbell can get their old buddy Tice on the line and get tickets to the big game for the whole team!

So, Chris... does this mean we get to see what it looks like when you become 'darned' next year? I can think of a few teams who'll darn Chambers and the Dolphins! Donutrun Jellies
That was indeed the closest. 1387115 For a team, certainly. Gotta love the Bus winning in his hometown of Detroit.

Guess the closest that I can remember was SF winning in Palo Alto . 1387100 Dallas won in Phoenix. And if you have ever been to a Arizona-Dallas game in Phoenix, the majority of the stadium is Cowboy fans. It's like Texas Stadium West, except there is no hole in the roof, no roof, usually 1000 degrees, crappy stadium, ugly (but al least not sexually confused) cheerleaders..... Mojo20
As a side note, I stopped Chambers for speeding not to long ago. He was a good dude, didn't pull the "Do you know who I am " garbage. I let him off with a warning and a thanks for helping me win a couple of fantasy games this past season.
Furd
Was in Egret's sigline. 1388642 I don't think that he was serious. At least, I hope that he wasn't serious. Anyways, who else predicted that Detroit would be in Super Bowl XL? (unless Egret = "they")
