spain
Running Back 1. Reggie Bush, USC 2. Laurence Maroney, Minnesota 3. LenDale White, USC 4. DeAngelo Williams, Memphis I still think DeAngelo Williams will have the best NFL career of all of these rb's...

Along with strength to run u over. I have been too almost every MEMPHIS game to see him play in town. I have watched the rest on T.V. I believe he will be the best RB and people will be wishing they took him no.1. He has the vison and the patient to follow his blockers or out run them if need. Unlike Bush who just out runs u. Nothing wrong with that in college. But in the NFL. All can do what u can. Unlike USC pretty much NFL team expansion style. U won't get that perfect block everytime. Williams feels the blocks coming and take with it. If he has to out run because nothing is their he is gone. This is your Rookie of the Year if he gets on a team and starts right away. Mr. D. Williams! And as much as i like him and Memphis State. That O-line was bad. But he made them look great. loyalboyd
How many of his O-line have you heard being drafted compared to USC.

Not lumping him up with these four, but I think if Brian Calhoun slides into the mid-2nd, whomever gets him will get TREMENDOUS value from that pick. I saw him play 3 games this year on tv including the Motor City Bowl where he was supposedly coming back from injury and wasnt even fully healed. Well, after he rushed for a couple thousand yards and 3 scores in the 1st quarter , I was pretty much convinced this dude would be high to mid 1st rounder. Then his workouts have done nothing to change my opinion of the kid. He breaks tackles. He Breaks long runs. Elusive, quick, strong, and explosive. Kid has it all except a little short in stature I think...
Chavez
Kid has it all except a little short in stature I think... 1399446[/snapback] Yeah, but that goes back to the old John Madden bit about Joe Morris being a "small back"; in a rare burst of insight, Madden pointed out that Morris "is a big guy, he's just short" - which is different from being "small." Williams looks to be a big guy, he's just short. Like a Travis Henry.

Since rb's in the NFL arent required to slam dunk a basketball, I think height is a non factor to play that position...
Azazello1313
mayock left jimmy williams off his list entirely. interesting. if the broncos keep their 2 first rounders, i hope they take one of those three RBs with the 22 pick. honestly i like all three of them about equally for the broncos...i think deangelo has the most talent, maroney has a ton of talent as well would be a great fit for the denver system, and lendale is the hometown boy and looks like he could be a real badass in the NFL. all three will be good NFL backs, IMO...maybe better than bush. Avernus
I like his lists better than ESPN INsider...even though they give insight for each player...
