They have been solid games the last two years. However, I think the result would have been different last year with Ben behind Center....... :D

I thought maybe the Menudo from the parallel universe had slipped through a rip in time and was posting here in OUR Huddle ... without being able to confirm the identity by looking for the tell-tale "evil twin goatee", it was perplexing for a moment .. :D

I don't think the Steelers have ever beaten the Jags here in Jax. The Jags even

beat the Steelers in their inaugural year- 1995. The Steelers went to SB XXX

that year and the Jags were 4-12. It was painful to watch, especially being

a Jag season ticket holder and wearing my black and gold to the game.

How about that Monday night game when the Steelers were lined up for a

41 yard game-winning FG. Kick was blocked and Jags ran it back for a TD. Cowher

almost tackled the guy running the blocked kick back. Another painful game to

watch.

Steeler club here in Jax has a group together to go to the game. Brutal schedule

though. I'm being more realistic in predicting another 11-5 finish and hopefully

division champs. Cincy the last game of the season could be for the division with

the loser getting bumped from the playoffs.

I like your prediction alot better Menudo! :D

The Steelers won in Jacksonville the last two time they played there.. 2 years ago, Ben brought them down for the game winning FG, which was nailed by Jeff Reed for a 17-16 win. In 2002, the Steelers beat them 25-23 in JAX.

Overall, the Steelers are 3-6 in Jacksoville.

Uh, well, uh, if we get McNair, then we'll beat you once.

14-2 is a bit much, but they are obviously the favorite for the division.

Would you expect anything more for me to go overboard with their precition. :D

I mean, last year I predicted the would win the Super Bowl. The year before that, I predicted they would go 15-1. :D:D

I have warned Steeler fans not to sleep on the Ravens. I really don't think they are that far away. They need to re-establish the running game, and finally develop a consistent passing game. However, there is still talent there, and the defense is still solid.

You are correct. I gave up my season tickets here in Jax in 2000. Perhaps I jinxed

our boys which is why I will stay at home or at the club to watch the MNF game.

I have to be at work at 6:30 AM so tough to go to a MNF game and get my

a*s out of bed.

I agree that with Big Ben, our boys would have never lost that game last year. :D

I agree, we have talent. However, like last year, I still believe half our core is past their prime. Ogden and Ray and have 10 years on them. Time to draft their replacements.

You're probably right. Now would be a good time to draft their replacement, so that they have some experience whenever Ray, Ogden, etc. retire. I wouldn't be upset if the Steelers did the same thing at Center, as Hartings is one injury away from retirement, and I'm not sold on Okobi as his backup. Nick Mangold would be a decent pick-up. I enjoyed the battle with the Bengals fans, but, I did miss the Ravens rivalry. There was simply more hatred with it, because it had been around for a while.

The Ravens MIGHT beat the Steelers in Baltimore this year, if we end up with McNair. The game is so late in the season I figure that McNair SHOULD be back from the early-season injury he'll suffer trying to play behind our pathetic O-Line :D
