loyalboyd
Has any NFL Draft Mag came out. If so where. And how much. And is it worth buying. I like carrying around some good reading material. Looking for player by player analysis and who they could become. With Ranking and all that good stuff. Thanks!
Huddled Masses
I have seen the following draft mags this year: Pro Football Weekly ESPN The Sporting News Street & Smith's I believe they are all about $7.99. I saw all of them at my local Publix grocery store.
loyalboyd
Do you prefer any over the other? If so why or why not?
Huddled Masses
Do you prefer any over the other? If so why or why not? 1417042 They all have good points about them but picking one over the other I think is a personal preference. Of the four, I believe PFW has more content. I like the way The Sporting News has a sidebar on every team with the players at every position on the team and they code them as far as being elite, solid, adequate... Wasn't that impressed with Street & Smith's compared to the other three.
HUGH Man
wouldn't the internet have more info?
loyalboyd
wouldn't the internet have more info? 1417173 Yes but I want something I can carry around also. Plus a good way to see my analysis of players and see if it matches.
budlitebrad
I always just buy the biggest one for bathroom material. The analysis is decent but the projections are garbage. I read anything FF though.

You are right too....the projections belong in the bathroom

Stick with the internet and print out what you want to carry around.

Whether it's the internet or magazines does not really matter because the only rankings that count are the ones formed by each individual. Magazines are outdated as far as the rankings go but a player's college career does not change. Too much stock is put into "measurables". I'm talking about getting the latest up-to-date info on players as well as the most current mock drafts, combine results, and expert opinions. A magazine gives you info at one point in time. Great for reading about a player's college career while you're taking a dump, but little good for anything else.

There is room for both magazines and internet updates.
