Duchess Jack
I have a gut feeling that he isn't going anywhere... especially if Favre retires... But for those who think he will mozy on... is this something that is likely to happen on draft day? or do you think that this will be a training camp move? where all do you think that he'll go? PaulOttCarruth
My hunch is he ends up in Philly in a deal involving a second-round pick and a player (offensive or defensive lineman, most likely). Favre is coming back.

rajncajn
If Favre was basing his decision on whether he thinks they could be a winning franchise next year then I would imagine if Walker goes, he goes too. Without a viable reciever I think they could actually be worse.
Brentastic
PHILLY?!?! I don't think they will take another chance on a WR that likes to call his own shots.

Randall
Mort just said something will be done on draft day.I wouldn't take anything less that a 1 myself, but a player and 2 would work. Driver is still good but can't do anything alone. PHILLY?!?! I don't think they will take another chance on a WR that likes to call his own shots. 1425504[/snapback] TO is unique. Walker wouldn't tear a team apart. Edited April 18, 2006 by Randall

I'd offer a 3 and a 4...Eagles have 3 4th's... I'd much rather trade 2 4th's, though

Until he does that I wouldn't trade him. He was a top WR when healthy. Holmes ad Jackson are question marks. If healthy Walker isn't. You can't punish the team because he wants to be traded. He's not going to give up over $1 million and sit.

msaint
I heard he might be headed to Denver. They'll sh*t-can Lelie, make a draft day deal...anyone else hear Shanny might be ineterested?

I'm valuing Walker differently because he has succeeded in the NFL and college players are always question marks. I think he has to play a few games to determine his health, but he probably won't. Swiss Cheezhead
Since when is ACL surgery such a big deal for a WR? If teams (like Denver, according to Pasquarelli) are trying to use that as a reason not to give up as much in a deal, then Thompson should tell them to go f*ck themselves. Walker injured his knee in WEEK ONE of 2005. He'll have almost an entire year of recovery under his belt when training camp starts -- that's PLENTY of time for a WR to come back from ACL surgery. Plus, even WITH a slightly gimpy knee, Walker is a 1200 & 10 WR. I honestly hope we hold onto him, wait 5-6 games for him to prove himself, then extend his contract. DaFreak
I don't think Walker will play for Green Bay again. They burned that bridge last year. I understand managements position but they should have given the guy the money he deserved and moved on What is ironic in all of this is that Favre was the one publicly telling Javon to honor his contract and play and now is the one bitching that the team sucks and that if they dont get some players he may not come back. Trade Walker, say goodbye to Brett and start the rebuilding.
Duchess Jack
I don't know. I think that GB will call his bluff, unless they get a kick butt offer and I think GW will brake down.

They place his value more around the 6th or 7th round.
