louisville lip
Last friday, I had the pleasure of attending the "They're Off" luncheon, which annually kicks off the Kentucky Derby Festival. Terry Bradshaw was the guest speaker. He spoke for 40 minutes, did not stumble once, did not say anything he couldn't say in front of his mother, and ABSOLUTELY kept everyone in the audience--young and old--in stitches the entire time. I read his first book and thought it was hilarious. I had no idea he could be so funny, and yet so articulate, in person. I've seen Seinfeld 4 times; I'd pay just as much to see Terry again. If you have the chance, don't miss him.

Skippy
I agree. I have met the guy twice in real life. Once when I was 14 and another time when I was in my early 20's. He seemed very much like someone that I would have a blast hanging out with.

Big Score 1
During the two Superbowls Atlanta hosted, Terry was in town. Used to work at Adult Clubs here and Terry (along with lots of other sports celebs) would be a regular. He was way cool to everyone of us employees. From the girls, to the waitresses, to the Bartenders, to the Floormen. Also juding by the laughter always coming from wherever he was, dude could hold court and keep people in stitches. He also used to pal around with Mike Fratello & Dennis Hopper. Strange bed fellows I know, but those three were buds. Never heard anyone have a bad thing to say about the guy. Your point? As for Bradshaw, I'll buy "fun" - not "smart."
broncosn05
He's been on Leno twice in a few months and I watched both of them and was very good with the whole crowd and he seemed to get along with everyone and I thought the guy was flipin hilarious. Duchess Jack
there's a guy who works at the shoprite that I frequent. he's amazing. really charasmatic and charming - an old guy. knows everybody and pitches everything - spends alot of his time in the deli and bakery area and could sell ice to an eskimo. simply amazing at what he does - archie is his name. he is really is a bright spot in the store. you can hear him from far off peddling stuff (apparently he used to own his own market in his youth) I know three people who have worked at the store who say he is an absolute fatherless male. wonderful and loving on the outside, but cross him or make him look bad and his true self comes out. that is how I have come to see bradshaw with the different impressions I get of him Edited April 25, 2006 by Duchess Jack
