BigTen
Per Tom Kowalski... All signs point to Ernie Sims About 26 hours before the Lions will make their first-round draft pick, it appears more and more likely that choice will be Florida State linebacker Ernie Sims. Detroit's first choice -- Ohio State linebacker A.J. Hawk -- will be long gone by the Lions' ninth overall pick and now it seems likely Texas safety Michael Huff will also be gone (most likely to the Raiders at No. 7). The Lions will not trade up to No. 7 to get Huff because they like their options at No. 9: Sims, defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley and offensive tackle Winston Justice. Lions president Matt Millen desperately wants to address the linebacker and safety positions in the first two rounds which makes Sims the obvious choice. Millen is very high on Bunkley and Justice, but Bunkley probably wouldn't start (because of Shaun Cody) and Justice is an offensive player. The Lions have taken seven offensive players in the first round over the last six years. No mention of a WR!!!
Hat Trick
Justice would disappoint anyway, they could still land Huff IF Young fell to #7.
BigTen
Justice would disappoint anyway, they could still land Huff IF Young fell to #7. 1442215 Huff is the guy I want. I am a little concerned that Sims has had a few concussions while at FSU (from what I have heard). Also, I think thay could trade down a few spots (hopefully) and still get Sims. I can't remember what Bulger's injury was last year. Was it that bad?

Brentastic
Why do people keep saying St. Louis wants a QB? I can't remember what Bulger's injury was last year. Was it that bad? 1442918 He's always hurt. He misses 4-5 games a year if I remember correctly. Also consider there is a new coach who may or may not like the way Bulger fits his system. I don't necessarily think St. Louis wants a QB, but I could see why they would.

MikesVikes
It looks like a QB will fall back. If the Vikes could get Greenway, that could be at least 3 new stud LBs for the central division.
