Addai to the Colts............I think I may have a new team. :D

Charley Casserly has just cemented his dipsh!tedness. I am so glad he is gone after this. What I dont understand is why they even kept him on for the draft. :D

I think Kubiak is willing to put his reputation on the guys that he has now which is solid he realizes that key offensive players are fine as is and thinks he can manipulate the O-Line to his liking while he leaves the defense to the coordinator and who ever they wantand if they don't get the job done they get the boot after all "defense wins championships"

When will HOU figure out that the Bosselli project is over?

Well, they got the 3rd ranked OT (Winston) & 3rd ranked OG (Spencer) in the draft. They also got the top ranked Defensive Player (Williams) and 5th ranked OLB (Ryans).......... I would say when all is said in done, the Texans have had a phenomenal day. :D

Wow! I left during the 2nd round, and just got home to see who HOU took at 3.01 and 3.02. Two OL?! Are you kidding me?! It's about time!

Now, I thought I saw Winston (Miami) going in the first round of mocks. If that's the case, then how did HOU get him at 3.02?

I've got to say this one of the better first days for HOU, but that's not saying a whole lot either.

I think you are thinking of Winston Justice from USC. He was projected as a first round tackle.

The Texans rebounded nicely with some offensive linemen. I was just shocked they did not address it in the second round with Justicie still on the board.

Makes 2 of us. Winston was projected as an early to mid 2nd rounder, IIRC.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time keeping Winston Justice and Eric Winston apart. But, here's a couple links with Eric Winston projected in the first round. Consequently, I don't know the background of these mockers.

Not quite sure if Justice had some character issues surrounding him. HOU is very big on character.

Personally, I would have liked to see the Texans trade down with the Jets, let the Jets get Reggie Bush and have the Texans pick up D'Brickshaw Ferguson defensive players at their late first rounder (from the Jets), and second rounder, and then come back with an extra 3rd or 4th rounder (from the Jets) to get some more defensive help.

You and me both! But, it appears that HOU was unable to trade out of the 1.01 position.

6.01 Wali Lundy, RB, Virginia

From GM JR Scouting LLC

Despite his size and natural strength, Lundy does not consistently run aggressively and gain yards after contact like a big back should. He is never going to be an explosive ball carrier who can shoot through the hole and run away from the defense, but his visions/instincts, smartness following his blockers and quick feet enable him to find the hole consistently and he gets through it quickly. If he learns to run more aggressively on every snap, consistently lowers a shoulder to deliver a blow to the tackler and picks his feet up better in traffic, he can be a good starting big back in the NFL who can handle carrying a power offense on his back. The most intriguing aspect of his play is his ability to stop and start quickly to make tacklers miss well out in space. However, he is never going to be more than a dependable, solid receiver out of the backfield. He will be a backup for a season or two, but will eventually be a good starting power back -- he reminds you a lot of Stephen Davis and Mike Anderson when they came out of college.

Alot like Mike Anderson? :D

The price was evidently too steep to trade up to #1. I imagine with Bush still on

the board at #2 the price was still too steep. N.O. did the right thing by keeping

Bush.
