piratesownninjas
William Henderson has been knocking defensive players on there asses for years... This time it was Kiper and the ESPN crew's turn... Good for you. I was actually yelling out loud and cheering... This guy is the definition of stability at the fullback position.

T-Scorp
"Mel Kiper I respect what you do but you had me as the worst draft pick FOR GB of the 1995 draft..." Nice job man. He defends his teammates and Favre. 1444960 fixed Yes but the question was about Favre throwing 29 interceptions and Jaws saying it was because Brett was not accepting coaching. Henderson reply? He was on the show to give some "professional" anaysis not about how Mel Kiper rated him as the worst of the GB draft picks. The ESPN crew was commenting on how this draft (06) was not going to help Favre that much. It wasn't about Henderson. While I commend him for defending his teammate (maybe Favre should take a lesson?) he never answered the question! I guess 3 late round WR's are going to turn Brett back into the league MVP? piratesownninjas
Henderson didnt cry, he just responded back, basically saying that Kiper and there crew are wrong a lot of the time, thus answering the question. He was responding to Favre's 29 INT's, and his inability to be coached. He then went on to say that the 29 INT's we're not an inability to be coached, but because of injuries, and bobbled catches and bad plays by the offensive players. He didnt run around the question, he put his head down and ran right threw it, and the espn crew as well.
T-Scorp
Chad Greenway=Soft. 1445002 With analysis like that YOU should be on ESPN Hodge will be a better LB than Hawk!!!

He also stated Faver was the ultimate teammate and the most coachable player on the team. Yet he burns Walker and then spends most of the offseason playing maybe I will maybe I won't come back. Jaw stated he broke down film on all 29 interceptions...and saw the same thing over and over which lead him to the conclusion that he was not following coaching. Jaws knows his stuff!! Mishandled balls and injuries do not equate to 29 interceptions!!! Favre was trying to force balls into spots that he can't anymore. Brett is a HOF QB and one of my favorite all time players but people need to stop making excuses for him. He is mot perfect!
Randall
fixed Yes but the question was about Favre throwing 29 interceptions and Jaws saying it was because Brett was not accepting coaching. 1445000 No, they were asking if it was because Favre didn't accept coaching. They also asked if it was because of the bad coaching situation there. What's with the crybaby reference? He was defending teammates. Nowhere did he cry. I think he was wrong in some of what he said, but made some good points too. About Favre he basically said he had a bad year.

These guys make it sound like Favre can't throw. They forget to remember that he was playing with the fifth runningback, missing there no.1, 3, 4 wr's and no Franks. What about a sig line bet... Hawk v. Greenway.
Swiss Cheezhead
I admit that I smiled when Henderson went off on Kiper, but I was also surprised that he was obviously still bothered by Kiper's comments 15 years ago. You always hear about guys like Tom Brady who use their low-round draft status as a "chip on their shoulder" throughout their careers. I had my doubts about that concept until yesterday. I mean, Henderson is one of the best fullbacks of all TIME, he's made the Pro Bowl, and he probably makes 10 times as much money as Kiper, but he just couldn't resist sticking it to Mr. Hair on national TV when he got his chance. That said, I think Jaws definitely knows how to analyze film, but he made a big assumption in his conclusion -- "Brett didn't accept coaching" implies that somebody was coaching Brett in the first place. I have my doubts about whether Sherman had the balls to really try to correct Favre on anything, especially given the circumstances of last season. He wouldn't risk Brett's inevitable comeback: "What the $*%# do you WANT me to do with these scrubs??"

Kiper sits highest amongst draft-analyst buffoons, most of their predictions and grades are WAY off base. And any QBs INT total should never be taken at face value. Henderson stuck it to them and didn't kiss their ass. Way to go.

BigTen
Good to see someone standing up to them. 1444983 Yeah, but what Jaws said was absolutly right. Wizards
Come on did you think Henderson would respond to Favre's coachability question with absolutely uncoachable....29 INT's wish he didn't come back statement....even if Henderson thought it?????????????????// Get real.....Favre is and will puit up better numbers this year than last....Packers with luck will win 4 or 5 games by 3 or less and will get in the wild card playoffs at 9-7..... Walker will get hurt mid season (not hoping he does----just think he will) and leave Bronco's in lurch and in the dust for playoffs..... Henderson is the consumate team guy and Jaws can break down all he wants any film....Jaws was not a Great QB....just average with a rifle arm and very little vision at the position....now he has vision of what a HOF QB should be doing????????????
