Pope Flick
Was in Vegas over the weekend, staying at the Venetian. Sports book odds for some of the teams listed there: LSU 11/1 NOTRE DAME 5/1 OHIO STATE 11/2 USC 10/1 TEXAS 12/1 OKLAHOMA 8/1 MIAMI 24/1 GEORGIA 24/1 WEST VA 13/1 LOUISVILLE 30/1 MICHIGAN 25/1 FLORIDA 11/1 AUBURN 32/1 PENN ST 30/1 FL ST 24/1 AZ ST 37/1 those are the main ones. Being an ND fan I was a little surprised they have the best odds, but that's one of those odds placements that's prolly better than it should be to protect themselves from having to make a HUGH payout because so much $ is going to flow their way this year. I put 10 bucks down on Auburn and their puff sked.
Goopster24
How does Notre Dame have better odds than Ohio State? OSU lost some defensive starters but the pieces are there, more so than Notre Dame. And look at the schedules....

Menudo
All of those Notre Dame betters are going to be extremely upset when their chances are already over after they lose on September 9th...... My 2 best friends, who I don't get to see as much anymore and I are planning to head to South Bend for that game......... I'm extremely excited for that trip !!! Menudo
Don't get your hopes up. ND 45 PSU 20 1452837 No way they lose by 25, but, getting a win that early in South Bend is a tall order.......possible, but, not probable. It will be a very close game though, imho. Timmypg
I'm trying to get tickets for ND vs PSU. I like that we get PSU @ home with a new QB. However, next year ND goes to PSU and Quinn will be gone.

rbmcdonald
Has anyone seen any early futures on over/under for total wins in the 2006 season? I am going to be very interested in seeing what they have for ND. Ohio St, USC, OU, TX, et al, will be in the 9,10,11 range. I doubt ND will be that high. Add Nick Mangold and you have six of there top players gone... 1471186 Ohio State always reloads their defense. Not many programs can say that. What about their offense? They barely lost anyone. I don't see many preseason polls having Notre Dame higher than Ohio State. They are both gonna be good but I think Ohio State needs to have the early edge among the two.
