seabronc
I'm interested in how everyone projects Alexander, Tomlinson, and Larry Johnson for the next few years... They are head-and-shoulders above the other RBs, but all will experience some changes going into the season. Alexander- no Hutchinson Tomlinson- new QB L. Johnson- new coaches and first full year carrying the load How do you see it playing out? How do you rank the three for this season and long term? The Vikings O-line looks pretty powerful so I don't see much decline in Hutch's production there but W. Jones is an amazing tackle who will continue to push Alexander into the endzone like it was meant to be. L. Johnson will do amazing. Possibly even break Alexander's TD record made last year. This guy is that good. He will no doubt be in the top 3 RB's FF-wise. Tomlinson, with his new coach and absence of Breese may struggle but I doubt it. He will probably produce around the same as last year. I'd rank them like this: 1) L. Johnson 2) S. Alexander 3) Tomlinson (L.T.)

Donutrun Jellies
I wonder what Priest Holmes thinks of LJohn's chances to break Salex's record this year? I'm still thinking PH robs LJ of some value -- am I the only doofus thinking this in the entire Huddle?

Herm has a track record of having a primary ball carrier and letting the other languish (RE: CuMar). It would not be out of the question for LJ to break the single season carries record this season. Randall
LT may be leaned on more this coming year. I often questioned how little he was used at times. I still like him in the top 3 with Tiki as a 4. Sky has a different opinion, but I think he'll be fine. I have LJ, Shaun and LT.

If Priest does return I think he'll vulture 20-25% of LJ's touches, but will he come back? That is still up in the air.

Shaun Alexander 2. LaDainian Tomlinson 3. Larry Johnson 4. Rudi Johnson 5. Edgerrin James 6. Steven Jackson 7. Cadillac Williams 8. Willis McGahee 9. Clinton Portis 10. Clubfoothead
Tiki Barber should be between 4 and 6. How can you put Steven Jackson ahead of him? :doah: 1451099[/snapback] He's old, I don't like him and Martz is now in Detroit. If he stays in my top 10 it will be Tiki's 1st time ever in it. You can have him. Edited May 3, 2006 by Clubfoothead

It'll take a nice pre-season in Mankato or Hopkins to convince me. I guess it could happen but I don't see it.
