Passing yardage by team in 2006

Based simply on yardage, here's how I feel each team will end up (number next to each team is how they finished last year):

 

IND (3) - 1st in '04 & '03; passing more in '06 and back on top

STL (4) - Top 5 past 7 years; pass schedule easier than rush

ARI (1) - No choice but to pass in '05; Edge vs Arrington...hmm?

OAK (10) - Great pass schedule, brutal rush schedule

KC (6) - Same as above

NE (2) - Healthy Dillon/Maroney will make Brady pass less in '06

CIN (5) - Moved 'em down 2 spots with injured Carson

DAL (15) - TO catapults them 7 spots

PHI (8) - Losing TO drops them a spot, but McNabb/Westy OK

GB (7) - 7th in '05 with only Driver; age moves em' down 3 spots

NYG (11) - Nice ground game keeps them from moving up

DEN (18) - Hello Walker, goodbye Anderson; will pass more in '06

DET (26) - Martz will make sure they rack up passing stats

SEA (13) - SA's running eats into Hass's passing stats

TEN (9) - Will rely more on run this year, dropped them 6 spots

NO (14) - Moved down 2 spots with balanced rushing attack

SD (12) - Is 5 spots enough to drop them with Rivers at the helm?

MIA (16) - Will go up a few more spots if Culps gets healthy faster

CAR (17) - They don't pass as much as you think

MIN (20) - No real reason to move them up or down on the list

JAX (19) - 19th past 2 yrs; you want Leftwich as your FF QB1?

CLE (23) - Should improve from last year, but not by miles

BAL (22) - If McNair comes to town, move em' up about 4 spots

WAS (21) - Their D holds teams, Portis runs; no big need to pass

PIT (24) - Always be run-first; Ben is good NFL QB, not FFL QB

TB (25) - Another ground pound team with little reason to pass

NYJ (28) - Should finish near the bottom again in passing yards

ATL (27) - 167 YPG in '05; if Schaub comes in, move em' up alot

HOU (30) - Hey, at least I moved them up a spot from last year

SF (32) - 119 YPG in '05, same QB in '06; VD moves em' up 2

BUF (29) - Lost Moulds, same QB problems; not looking promising

CHI (31) - CHI gets off on winning with such a pitiful passing O
