piratesownninjas
Favre is a loser. Most over-rated player in the history of the NFL. The game will be better off when he finally quits and heads back to Mus-n-touchit Mississippi or whatever that shi@thole is called that he crawled out of. good riddance jack ass... 1456459 All those darned 3 time mvp's... Swiss Cheezhead
Trouble is, a personal assistant to the Favre family specifically stated to the press that "a scoop" awaited them at that Golf Tournament. 1456469 It's probably not worth arguing, but in the proper context -- and especially coming from someone who only values "credible" sources -- the hunch of a "personal assistant" hardly qualifies as Favre trying to promote himself. Seriously, if you were in his position and hadn't made a decision yet, why would you want a bunch of stupidass reporters coming down to Mississippi and detracting attention from your charity golf tournament? What's the upside? The "family assistant" was wrong. There was no agenda.

However the personal assistant to the Favre family telling the press that "a scoop" awaits explains; #1) Why so many of the press were in attendance. #2) Their reaction. What motivated the families personal assistant to say that, who knows?

And explains my thoughts on the family assistant as well.
Yukon Cornelius
STOP CONCERNING YOURSELVES WITH ONE MAN'S DECISION. IT DOESN'T AFFECT YOUR LIVES. Why does Favre have to make a HUGH decision on YOUR time for you to be satisfied? 1456101 its hugh moran newbie tool cheezehead

Bill Swerski
Favre's complicit in it, but is there really any reason that EVERYONE has to hang on his every utterance? 1456202 Take my "Barry Bonds Approach": If you don't like the fact that the media's over-hyping something, stop watching ESPN.
