PantherDave
Leinart 1460922[/snapback] Sorry, watched the tapes, Lienarts ball arrives belly first the majority of the time, NFL DB's will pick him off many times. when it starts to get there nose first, then he will have an NFL arm. Fitz and Boldin make him attractive-it's Cutler Cutler

Because with time that man is bound to be at least a Top 10 QB. But I foresee Top 5 in him. And as long as this is a Dynasty I cant see how he ain't one of the Top picks thats crazy. But I'm like the Texans I dont follow the crowd I just take what is going to be a proven Top player for yrs to come. Plus the is the NFL not no college team. These DC will blitz blitz and blitz to wear down that man everyone is crazy about called BUSH SO Leinart is the call for me.

I didn't like Leinart because of his throw and he's never pressured at USC...in AZ he'll have his weapons...but he better improve on his throw...and so should Young... having said all of that...I think I'll go with the QB who I think will be the best pro who could pass more than the QB he is succeeding... Jay Cutler...

Swiss Cheezhead
Sometimes, you just have to be smart and safe with high picks. I like Cutler the best out of all the rookie QBs, but Leinart has been put in a perfect situation. On any other team, I'd let somebody else draft him, but... Matt Leinart, QB, ARI Edit: I'd like to add that while Leinart probably won't play regularly till at least next year, his trade value will continue to go up. So, even if you're not personally high on Leinart, his trade value after the '06 season would be sky-high. To say he throws "floating ducks" (whatever that is?) just shows you don't have a clue ..... :

In big games I pick Leinert due to experience and being in Arizona. I haven't seen Cutler on a winning team yet. PantherDave
Lienart will do fine in the right system ala Montana, but if people think he's going to drop back and throw these lazer mid to deep feild bombs-dream on. As one said, it's a dynasty draft, and Cutler will be the better NFL QB-one man's opinion.

Favre beat FL State when they were #6 nationally and won 2 bowl games for S Miss. What did Cutler do? Montana proved accuacy was as important as arm strength. Leinert throw some good deep passes against Okla that were on the receiver's fingers. Leinert doesn't throw a floating duck. Come on. Delhomme doesn't have a cannon but does awfully well in big games too.

So, your way of thinking is it's where you played and college and who you beat?? C'mon, the NFL is about individual talent. Jerry Rice was never played top notch competition at MV St., and such, and we know how he turned out.
