Any insight into whether he unseats Romo for the back-up job in Dallas... and whether or not Jerry & Co. still think he has the makings of an eventual starter? Personally, I think he has a mediocre chance of becoming a decent QB, but we'll see. He has more talent than Romo. There is other talent out there that could be had instead or perhaps investing in a different young quarterback for Bledsoe to mentor to. I thought the Boys would have soured on Henson enough by now to take a shot at one of the later rd QBs in the draft to start grooming someone behind Bledsoe. When Brodie Croyle was still there at their pick in the 3rd, I was hoping they might grab him... but no such luck. Guess Bill & Jerry are more focused on today, not necessarily the long-term future. The Jersey Con-man made the great decision to start the kid on a thanksgiving game, then pulling him out at halftime. That doesnt do much for a kids confidence. How many quarterbacks were amazing in there first start? He might not be the second coming of whoever, but he got the raw end of the deal. They should have let Henson finish that season as the starter just to see if he started showing anything... and to at least PRETEND they thought he had long term potential... or else never start him in the first place. I played against them when they had 5 or 6 guys go on to play d-1 ball... You should see the practice facility we have now. They had this million dollar renovation and field turf put in, only to build a multi million dollar stadium for both teams down the road. Really nice though. Class of 02 here.
