Jimmy Neutron
I'm looking for a few good places to take the family to eat while we finish our vacation here in the LA area. Any ideas?

godtomsatan
Canter's in/on Fairfax. Only recommended because I'm eating a cold reuben right now, and every time I eat a reuben, warm or cold, I think of how good they are at Canter's.
TDFFFreak
Bare w/ me. Typing w/ baby in one arm. I can help you... sushi: Crazy Fish, En Sushi, Hama Sushi Pizza: Dagwoods, BJs, Wildflour Comfort Food: Cafe 50s, Memphis, Swingers Deli: Bay City Imports Italian: Pomodoro, Il Fornio Mexican/Southwest: Gilberts, Kay and Dave's, Border Grill Burgers: Apple Pan, In-N-Out Fancier/Nicer: Saddle Peak Lodge, Michael's, Spago, Delmonico's, Maestros That's what's coming to mind at the moment. I am missing some places that I'll hit myself in the head for forgetting. Let me know if you want to hear more specifics about the places listed above and I'll give you more info/opinions on them as well as general area locations. darin3
Hey Jimmy - didn't know you were still here! Are you in Anaheim? Shoot me a PM. If so, I can come up with some good local eats. I'm assuming you've already done Downtown Disney.

Jimmy Neutron
Thanks guys - my kids have voted down every cool place my wife and IK have scoped out in favor of chains. This is the price of parenthood. I'm kickin' it poolside now as my kids splash around. Mrs. Neutron and I are going to hit a Buca di Beppo place in the hotel parking lot in an hour or two. SoCal was very nice this week. Temps in the low 70s and no waiting at Disneyland, the Adventure Park or at Universal Studios. If anyone is planning a family trip - the 2nd week of May is an excellent time to avoid the crowds.

Forgot about the Little Neutrons; hard to get into restaurants with them...

Bier Meister
Dining is better without kids. 1466217[/snapback] we have found that lunches are fine and meltdown starts around 8p. so if we are seated for dinner around 6, we are in business.
