Swiss Cheezhead
I just heard it reported on ESPNradio. The New Orleans population is apparently still around HALF of what it was pre-Katrina. Despite that, they just set a franchise record for season tickets sold.

msaint
Awesome for the city and the team's fans. If only those dollars were going somewhere OTHER THAN Benson's fat, droopy pocket. Edited May 18, 2006 by msaint

budlitebrad
Maybe the NFL had Houston take Mario on purpose, since they knew New Orleans needed Bush a lot more.
rajncajn
I'd like to think we would have done that despite Bush, but it's a hard argument to make.
rajncajn
Link Owner Tom Benson said that the Saints received "a spike" in ticket sales after drafting Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush last month, but they were already on a record pace. , Edited May 18, 2006 by rajncajn

Cordo
I may have trouble getting tickets now? 1476270[/snapback] Alot of talk about that on SR this week, BOO (btw, there's a BOO on that board, that you ?). With 4 months still to go and the bumps from TC and preseason, certainly the possibility of completely selling out in season tickets. Rita said they will not hold back any single game tickets, other than the ones required for the visiting team...
