cliaz
Packers running back Ahman Green took the field with his teammates for the first time this season on Sunday despite being on the mend from a ruptured thigh tendon. "It was actually a surprise to me that they let me do that," Green told Monday's Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "Because before that it was, like, nothing with the team, and whatever you do is with the trainers before or after practice." Green should be ready for training camp. It was actually a surprise to us that Green was even at minicamp, as previous reports indicated he would not attend due to a charity event. He missed the first day, but reported for duty on Sunday. Ahman was restricted from taking any contact during the workout. Even so, he's still said to be two months ahead of schedule in the rehab process. He'll spend his summer fighting to prove that 2005 was a fluke.
