jake_the_builder
Does anyone know anything about DeArrius Williams? I don't think that Priest will last this year at all and the only other backup is Dee Brown and he will get passed on the depth chart. So, is DeArrius worth a gamble as LJ's backup? Edit to add: :doah: Forgot to mention Q.Griffin, but don't believe it matters...... Edited May 25, 2006 by jake_the_builder
Savage Beatings
If Priest decides to hang up the cleats, I'm pretty sure KC will go get someone like Michael Bennett to back him up.

Wizards
Well you don't have to worry...check out the other threads....LJ will get 500+ carries and not need much relief...."ACCORDING" to those threads.....Griffin and Brown only need to spell an occassional 3rd down or so... Many Huddlers have already handed over the title of rushing and TD's to LJ and we haven't got to camp....never heard of DeArrius Whatever....just draft LJ and go looking for a #2 without a worry... KC agrees with the Huddlers (or is it they want an answer from Priest?) and have yet to make a move...talk is Bennett...IMO Travis Henry would be a perfect back-up who has become obsolete at Tennessee.... Go with him and that's it. I've heard he is so good, he'll have a 100 yards and 1 TD on his bye week!

Boy I hope these people are right!! Oh wait, I dont have LJ. Guess that means I already lost the SB this year huh... Oh shux.
Hat Trick
Huh, wow all I've heard is how LJ is going to be hurt by game 6. Griffin looks like the backup to LJ at this time. They are still interested in other options, but KC fans and the team would like Priest to be there and fill the role.

If, and that's a BIG if Priest comes back he will be give LJ a breather, nothing more, LJ will get AT LEAST 20 carries a game, no doubt, if you think otherwise, you got another thing coming. Chief Dick
Priest will not come back. And if LJ goes down, take your pick for their #2, cause it won't really matter.
dsrm
The only things I know about De'Arrius Howard 1. He went to Arkansas. Eventually he lost his job to super freshman Darren McFadden. 2. He was a heavily recruited HS player who set all kinds of records playing in Memphis. 3. He's big and fast...5'11" 229 lbs...runs the 40 in 4.45 or so. He never really seemed to put it together at Arkansas, his stats quite frankly stink. But then in the East-West Shrine game, he starred...scoring 3 TD's. Without Priest, I think howard has a decent enough shot to win the #2. Of course I just drafted De'Arrius, so maybe I'm biased.
