cliaz
One of the side effects of being a fantasy footballer is that we gauge players person/travel/professional lives anytime something happens. “Oh well Steve Smith ate at Scribbles steak house last night, that means he’ll possibly have a sub par game on Sunday because his mother said in an interview four years ago that red meat gives him very bad gas.” It is an occupational hazard for all of us. Well I am not too thrilled over the NFL eyeing more games outside of the United States. Jet lag could be a factor on our players. Granted the NFL is talking about Canada and Mexico but also the UK and Germany. I’m sure this will not be a major factor on our players but still any change in routine for these guys can have an impact on their playing ability come game day. Of course it is still only a proposal and would not start until 2008. Be that as it may I am still not thrilled over this.
ebartender
I agree. Let the pre-season games be played overseas.
Crispy
But I sooooo enjoyed watching Rackers kick in Mexico last year. But I agree. They should be hanging in the good ole USA.
Donutrun Jellies
I agree. Let the pre-season games be played overseas. 1489760[/snapback] +1 ... keep jet lag out of the regular season -- or we'll have YET ANOTHER subject for incessant "what if" whining ... nuke'em ttg
NFL doesn't need to do that..........NFL Europe is fine, leave the big boys at home
Savage Beatings
Will be interesting to see if the next Commissioner follows in the footsteps of Tagliabue in this regard. I don't care for it either. But more and more it seems like the NFL doesn't seem to care what it's biggest fans think.
Dirty Weasel
How can a team really have the home field advantage in another country? Some teams are gonna be losing out.
