cliaz Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 Vikings wide receiver Troy Williamson is recovering well from surgery to repair an abscess from his left hip and could be back on the field in a few weeks. "There is an outside chance that maybe he gets back for a little bit of that last minicamp [on June 19-21]," head coach Brad Childress told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Williamson underwent the operation during the first week of May. The Vikings are installing a new offense this season, and it's important for Williamson to make as many practices as possible.
