Leftwich owns two of the sport bikes and reportedly likes to ride them without a helmet. There is nothing in Leftwich's contract preventing him from riding a motorcycle. tomfin2000 Posted June 17, 2006 Share Posted June 17, 2006 I said it in another thread a few weeks ago and I'll say it again here: The Jags have three solid backup QBs, but no starter. I don't wish Leftwich any harm, but he's not in the same league as Big Ben when it comes to his importance to his team. In fact, I don't think we would miss anyone on the offensive side of the ball at this point. Oh, and don't buy into all of this Matt Jones hype that I'm seeing online and in the mags. The Florida Times-Union also pointed out that Leftwich only renewed the tags on one of the bikes. He wouldn't answer questions about riding motorcycles and actually seemed pretty irritated. H8tank Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 To be fair... riding a motorcycle in Floriduh is a little different than the dirty, steal city. Lots of wide open highways, no crazy two green light intersections, and A1a. Sure, they have their fair share of bluehairs, but Pitt, well, pitt actually describes it well. Matt Jones is a nobody bust, a good #3 maybe. Ernest wilford will get 70-80+ catches, (prototypical Rod Smith, cris carter type talent) and I really hope they change the offense to take advantage of Mercedes' talents.
