I think if I was the bears, I'd goahead and bite the bullet this year, rather than have him say kiss my ass next year and force them to either tag him or let him go. Pope Flick Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 The kid's a beast. That being said, he hasn't yet played 3 full years, after agreeing to a 4 year deal. Angeloe, the GM, won't do it as a matter of principle. As much as I hate to say it they should stick to their guns. BUT if they're smart they'll cut him a new deal a few games into this year.
