I've always wanted to get out to Denver to attend. Maybe someday. :D

Whos been and have you enjoyed it? I've been going to the Maine Brewers Fest for about 8 years now. Great time 1st Sat in November. Used to go to Boston but their last one was at Suffolk Downs and it really went down hill.

I've gone several times and I strongly suggest getting a hotel room in Downtown Denver! But then again when it comes to an all you can eat buffett I try to get my moneys worth; when it comes to all I can drink beer, I try to make sure everyone gets their monies worth!

I can highly recommend the GABF to anyone, I think I invited a few Huddlers last year and they got scared! :D

Thanks Sunday! I'm strongly considering this year. The Comfort Inn looks like a great deal and real close.

I'm talking with two other friends now but we are at an impass as to whether to include wifes. Not necessarily for them to attend the fest but to make the trip to Denver. My wife has a nephew who recently moved out to the Springs and she would like to visit him.

I'll let you know how the planning goes. :D

what are the dates? i have been wanting to go to this for quite some time, but because it's usually on weekends i can't do it. maybe with some advanced notice (as i now make the schedule :D ) i might be able to swing it. as for hotels- wife and i have recently been spending nights at the hotel monaco in downtown denver.

1 or 2 huddlers could probably crash at my place. i'm a 20 minute bus ride from downtown, or better yet i bet i could get the wife to come pick us up afterward.

did i mention what a great addition she was to the az family?

Looks like this could be a reality for the GMoe's. Initial plan right now is Wed through Sunday attending the fest on both Friday and Saturday.

Sundaynfl or Az. What would you suggest for a downtown hotel? Comfort Inn looks good to me as it's right next to the 16th Street Mall which is great for the wife. It does look older though. While we plan to get a car I definately do not want to drive while in fest mode. :D

thanks a lot pal :D

:D yeah, bier's actually the one to ask. i've never stayed in a downtown denver hotel, for obvious reasons. i can't even think where the comfort inn is, but i guess location and price ought to be the main considerations. i think bier and mrs. bier like that hotel monoco place..

Sorry Bier. Honestly. :D

The Monaco is just as close as the Comfort Inn.

........ close to a lot of restaurants/bars; reasonably priced; free wireless; free pets; nice rooms; great restaurant on premesis....but not as hospitable as chateau az :D

Chateau Az???? :D

I'm sure that Az and the wife would be very hospitable... I would suggest staying at the Hotel Monaco Thursday and Friday and then at Chateau Az on Saturday night, so you can be hung over on his couch on Sunday and watch some football! :D
