peepinmofo
Mine has to be Steve Smith last year. I had the number 1 pick, and took Priest 2 years ago. He was a stud until he got hurt. Ive only been playing for 5 years or so though.
nopackerfan
Priest 3 years ago, he slipped to me at 4 because of his hip and contract concerns. Rode him to the championship.
Piranha
Shaun Alexander, last year in my local re-draft. Having Mike Vrabel and Todd Heap didn't hurt at the end of the season either.
rajncajn
I've had LT since he was a rookie in my local. Alexander last year in one dynasty.
Savage Beatings
Priest Holmes in 2003. Here was my starting lineup that year! Kitna, Jon QB Holmes, Priest RB James, Edgerrin RB Holt, Torry WR Horn, Joe WR Johnson, Chad WR Vanderjagt, Mike K Seahawks, DST
Big John
Marshall Faulk - 2001. (redraft league)
Scourge
For me it was Priest in 2003 as well.. I also got Moss in his rookie year in like the 16th round.. Good value there.
JoJoTheWebToedBoy
It's a tie. J. Jones and L. Johnson. Two years ago I pulled both of them off the WW around mid-season and rode them to a championship
bustedflush16
Manning '04. Caried me all year long.
loaf
tough to say. I had both Randy Moss and Fred Taylor (on the same team) their rookie years. Steve Smith last year
sarge5121976
Larry Johnson last year in a TD only league, got him in the 10th round, he single handedly won me the championship.
Men In Tights
1998-Had Daunte Culpepper and Randy Moss. What a great year, won it all in my main local and haven't won it since.
Clubfoothead
I had Alexander last year in one league. That was a pleasure. Mark Clayton did me right in the late 1980s once or twice. My best was in a TD only league in 1999. I took Leroy Hoard at 2.09 I think.
PantherDave
1998-Had Daunte Culpepper and Randy Moss. What a great year, won it all in my main local and haven't won it since. I might be wrong, but I don't believe it was 98 for Cpep and Moss but 99 or perhaps 00. The year Cpep blew fuggin up just about every week...I want to say that was the 2000 season. Gopher
I might be wrong, but I don't believe it was 98 for Cpep and Moss but 99 or perhaps 00. The year Cpep blew fuggin up just about every week...I want to say that was the 2000 season. You're right.... It was 2000. I had Culpepper that year as well. I remember that I won my local because of him and a pretty sick group of receivers. I think I had TO, Bruce, Muhammed, and Horn. I don't even remember who my RB's were that year, because Duante and my WR's carried me to the title. He threw for 33 TD's that year and ran for 7. What's funny is that those were both NOT career highs. He ran for 10 in 2002 and threw for 39 in 2004, when he was overshadowed by Manning. DKF
Fragile Freddy in his rookie year. Picked him up as a FA in my local. Won the championship that year. And Thornton the year he went off. Picked him up off the wire too. Edited June 30, 2006 by DKF
frenzal rhomb
Alexander last year but my favorite pick was E James -rookie season. That was the most fun to watch
TRU SOLDJA 22
Manning in 04 1st overall pick. Lost in the superbowl!
DO Jaded
I Had Jerry Rice my first season in FF. 1993. Then I had both Rice and Steve Young in 94. Won it all that year. Steve scored like 35-40 points a game.
Pope Flick
I had Terrell Davis in 1998 SA last year. Had Daunte in 2004 - that was pretty sick, and 2nd to manning in ppg by less than 1.5 that year.
Pancake
Faulk in 2001 AND Priest in 2003. This thread had me looking at my past rosters and I found this GEM. I had Keyshawn Johnson in 2001 when he broke the NFL record for most receptions in a season without a TD ....something like 90 catches before he scored a TD...he ended up with 106 catches for 1,266 yards and ONE TD on the whole season.....I hate myself for ever drafting him.
