whitem0nkey
In April, Walker signed a contract extension through the 2011 season, and he often expressed the desire that Northwestern would be his last coaching job.

Sweetlips
Let me tell you that Evanston is one sad town today! We've been lucky to have him all these years and were really looking forward to the wildcats getting better and better. We owe that to Walker! sacosud
I have to say when I heard this at work today it gave my heart a sunken feeling. I really like Walker and thought of him as a class coach and very talented leader of men on and off the field. The Big Ten lost a great coach and good representation of the BIG TEN....You will be missed Coach Walker.
