RaiderSteve
Awesome book...That's how I found The Huddle. Believe it or not I never knew this site existed before I read his book.
MikesVikes
I was just scanning the FF Mags at a local book store. They revealed the the WCOFF winner was going to give it all up, so it peaked my interest. When I looked at the story, he mentioned that he didn't even know about the contest until a friend told him about it in the book. Then he gave him the book to read. I didn't see the part about why he's giving up FF. Just saw the part about the book. And I saw the website for the book but either don't see the story on-line or forgot what the link was from the mag.

MikesVikes
Give up FF? What the... We can all relax. They're not giving up FF. Just giving up the info about themselves for the story. It was either misleading or a bait and switch to make me read the story or both. Was wondering myself how someone could win 200k and then give up the hobby. MikesVikes
As I read the story a second time, Three co-owners shared the winning team. The co-owner quoted for the story was Pat Ritchie and not Paul Friel (the 3rd was Chris Nicholson). Paul Friel was the dude that told Pat about the book. Pat Ritchie was the one that said he played WCOFF when he learned about it in the book.

It was probably because the cheerleader was added to the cover. Paul wouldn't have gotten the book and then told Paul about it without the girl. She get's the cut.
