ReturnToSender
Hello folks, I am in a 12 person league, high dollar (for me atleast), non-keeper league. We random who picks where, but there are a lot switches and trades made for order spots. We play 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 Def..we get points per reception, 100 yards bonues, 6 pts for TDs...pretty standard. Looking at this years draft choices, in a 12 person snake draft formatt, what pick number do you think will be the best spot to pick. In the last few years, I have always picked 1, 2 or 3..a lot of no brains picks. I just was looking for folks thoughts on the best spot. thanks alot!! Duchess Jack
I am still a fan of 6. Whoever drops of LJ, LT, Alexander, Portis, Caddie or Ronnie and the wraparound

Gopher
I would try to stay away from 7-11 as well. Top 3 is ideal, 4-6 gives you something to work with as far as a stud RB, but if I'm any lower than that, I would prefer to have back-to-back picks with #12. Makes drafting a lot easier than having #10 or #11, and having to worry every time around that the person after/before you is going to steal your guy. PantherDave
It sounds cliche as hell, and there are certain spots we have a comfort zone in for sure, but I've always felt that if I'm prepared and I've done the research-then any spot is fine. I've seen championships won from just about every spot in 10-12 team leagues. My local(since 1989) has had the champ come from every spot except #9, which we now call the "Kiss of Death" spot. My league is 12 teams deep by the way, as a 10 team league, not sure there is a bad spot to be had-just my .
